An Affordable Sub Ohm Mod Starter Kit - KangerTech Ripple Kit
In the current vape market, pod systems and box mods are the mainstream.
Between these two kinds of vaporizers, pods usually seem more cost-effective at first purchase, but box mods and atomizers will cost you less over the long term.
According to surveys, the average amount spent on a vaporizer is $80, which is a sizeable investment and may be too costly for some.
With a core mission of providing alternatives for people who smoke, KangerTech now offers a more affordable option for starters to try.
What’s inside the package:
1 x Ripple Kit (excluding 18650 batteries)
1 x NR Mesh Coil (0.18Ohm)
1 x Set of Sealing Rings
1 x Extra Glass Tube (3.5mL)
1 x Micro USB Cable
1 x Manual
The Ripple Kit recently released by KangerTech is a starter kit with a sub ohm tank and a box mod.
The tank comes with a 0.18Ohm mesh coil, and the box mod is powered by dual 18650 batteries rated for 200W.
Inside the package, it also comes with an additional mesh coil for replacement when necessary, and an extra glass tube in case of accidental breakage.
There are four colors available: Space Grey, Champagne Gold, Blue, and Black.
How the tank performs:
It performs way beyond expectation.
First of all, it is a sub ohm tank with 2 mesh coils, and either coil can last 1-2 weeks for your daily use.
The best wattage set for the NR Mesh coil is 35-45W, and you will get huge clouds and rich flavors. It is also compatible with many other coils on the market.
It applies an extremely convenient top juice filling method and an adjustable airflow base. The drip tip is 810 model and made of resin.
In the future, the tank can be bought separately.
How the mod performs:
It’s definitely a decent box mod, with a compact and comfortable design.
It is powered by dual 18650 batteries and rated for 200 watts, which can meet a wide range of power needs.
The Ripple mod offers three different modes: wattage mode for beginner, wattage and TC mode for intermediate, and custom mode for expert.
It also has an additional function button for convenient mode switching.
The MRSP is around $40, which means you only need to pay a little more than a sub ohm tank, and get a whole box mod starter kit.
It may not appear as fancy as others and currently has only four colors available, but if you’re a starter who wants to try a box mod on a limited budget, the Ripple Kit is the best choice for you!
